When the FLUX:: Analyzer Essential or FLUX:: Session Analyzer stand-alone application is installed, the SampleGrabber plug-in will automatically be installed in any of the  AU / VST / AAX plug-in formats are enabled for install in Center Preferences Install Options.

When installing a stand-alone Application in Flux:: Center, shortcuts can be created by enabling this option under Global Options, and in Windows, the shortcut is normally then created on the desktop. Currently, there’s a known bug in Windows 7, and the shortcuts are sometimes not created even though this option is enabled in Flux:: Center.

Flux::Center installs only 64-bit version applications when running Windows 64-bit and 32-bit applications when running Windows 32-bit.     After the installation, the stand-alone application files can be found here:

FLUX:: Analyzer Essential 64-bit C:\Program Files\Flux\FluxTAnalyzer.app\Contents\x64\FluxTAnalyzer-x64.exe

FLUX:: Analyzer Essential 32-bit C:\Program Files\Flux\FluxTAnalyzer.app\Contents\win32\FluxTAnalyzer-x86.exe

FLUX:: Session Analyzer 64-bit C:\Program Files\Flux\Studio Session Analyzer.app\Contents\x64\Studio Session Analyzer-x64.exe

FLUX:: Session Analyzer 32-bit C:\Program Files\Flux\Studio Session Analyzer.app\Contents\win32\Studio Session Analyzer-x86.exe

The 32-bit version is already very precise and should be more than enough for all common everyday applications. The 64-bit version is provided for very specific applications, that sometimes may require extreme detail in the analysis, typically in the research field.

Files installed

Analyzer Essential

Windows

  • FluxAnalyzer-x64.exe
  • FluxAnalyzer-f64-x64.exe

The FLUX:: Analyzer Essential / FLUX:: Session Analyzer is a stand-alone application and not a plugin.

It is using a plugin, called SampleGrabber, to broadcast the audio data from the DAW or Host software to the stand-alone application, either on the same computer, localhost, or over the network using a different computer for the Analyzer stand-alone application.

You can read more about this in the FLUX:: Analyzer User Manual (online).

When installing any of the Flux:: stand-alone applications, such as the FLUX:: Analyzer Essential / FLUX:: Session Analyzer, shortcuts can be created by enabling this option under Global Options in Flux:: Center.

On MacOS, the shortcuts are added to the dock; on Windows, the shortcuts are created on the desktop.

When the FLUX:: Analyzer application is installed, the SampleGrabber plug-in will be installed automatically if any of the  AU / VST / AAX plug-in formats are enabled in FLUX:: Center preferences “Install Options“.
